Mike Pegher Jr. Adds New Sponsors, Prepping for 2012 Season

Wexford, PA (January 19) The Geisler Racing Team and Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr., have been hard at working during this off-season getting prepared for what looks to be a very busy 2012 season in both the Fastrak Crate Late Model and the Super Late Model.

Pegher is going to use the 2012 season as a building block to eventually climbing in the famous Geisler Racing, Cochran Automotive sponsored #1C Super Late Model, made famous by Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame member Lynn Geisler, on a full time basis. 'We're going to run the Super Late Model a little more than we did in 2011 but our main focus will still be the Crate car,' Pegher said. 'More laps in the Super will be beneficial for the future and does make a difference in the Crate car as well, hopefully the more laps we get, no matter what car, will make us better as a team and we can continue to have the success we've had the past few seasons.'

Mike's intentions in the Crate car are again to follow the Fastrak Northeast Tour presented by Sweeney Chevrolet. 'The Northeast deal will be our main focus this upcoming season,' Pegher chimed, 'when we're not at a Northeast show, we'd like to travel a little. Not sure which car we'll be in on those weekends but we'll be racing somewhere, every weekend.'

Mike Pegher Jr. and Geisler Racing would like to welcome new sponsors Advance Pain Medicine and Graf Custom Construction on board for the 2012 season. 'We're extremely happy to have Advance Pain Medicine and Graf Custom Construction come on for the upcoming season,' Pegher said. 'We also have all of our 2011 sponsors returning for 2012 and it's an honor that the businesses that support our race team come back each and every year,' Mike continued. 'This is Geisler Racing's 31st season with Cochran Automotive on the side of their cars, we can't thank them and every other company that helps us out enough for letting us do what we all love to do.'
