Bub McCool To Debut Halloween Car at Magnolia State 100

Vicksburg, MS (09/21/11) – Each year race fans look forward to the debut of Bub McCool's Halloween graphic's scheme on his #57J McCool Logging/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model, and he will be debuting his 2011 design at this weekend's 22nd Annual Magnolia State 100.

For several years now, Bub has had a special Halloween graphic's scheme on his familiar #57J, which he runs for the entire month of October. He will be debuting the 2011 Halloween wrap by New Vision Graphics, this weekend, September 22nd-24th at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in the 22nd Annual Magnolia State 100. To go with the new look, Bub will have a new t-shirt design available for purchase at his souvenir trailer. The $20,010-to-win/$1,000-to-start event gets underway on Thursday with an open practice session, while time trials and heat race action will be held on Friday night. Saturday's program will be headlined by b-mains, a last chance race, and the 100 lap finale.

Last Friday night found Bub at the World of Outlaws Super Late Model event at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) for a $10,000-to-win event. With 37 cars entered, time trials were almost completed when rains set in forcing the event to be canceled.

Saturday night saw McCool Motorsports managing to dodge Mother Nature to enter a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event at I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Missouri). Forty-two Super Late Models entered the event, and in time trials Bub registered the 9th fastest time to lock into the third starting spot for the first heat race. In the heat he would slip to a fourth place finish, which left him starting thirteenth on the feature grid for the 55 lap feature. He would race around mid-pack for the duration of the event before crossing the finish line in the 12th position.
