Denton Boyer Captures First Win of 2011 Season at Marion Center

Punxsutawney, PA (June 21, 2011) Denton Boyer and the Denton Boyer Racing team captured their first win of the 2011 season this past Saturday, June 18 at Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, PA after a strong sixth place finish at Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, PA the day before.

Boyer took the lead at the start of Marion Center's 25-lap feature event and held off a hard charging Gregg Satterlee and the previous week's winner, Dane Laraway, to snag his first win of the 2011 season. 'Starting up front definitely helped,' Boyer said, 'It's always a battle out there with those guys, they race hard so winning at Marion Center is never easy.'

'I need to thank our sponsors,' an appreciative Denton said, 'Pinned Designs, Coyer Enterprises, Martin Farms, Laz Fab, JNJ Motorsports Media and everyone else who helps us out. We all know that if it wasn't for them, none of us could go racing. It's nice to get a win for them and everyone that helps out at the shop and at the track.'

Denton Boyer and the Denton Boyer Racing Team are pre-registered for this upcoming weekend's 5th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA. The three day event will start Thursday, June 23 with a full World of Outlaws late Model Series program paying $6,000 to the winner. Friday, June 24 will feature the same World of Outlaws Late Model Series format with Saturday, June 25 being highlighted by the big $30,000 to-win Firecracker 100.
