Anthony Burroughs Strikes at Moulton for Second Win of 2011

Rogersville, Alabama (05/18/11) – Despite cold and damp conditions ruining racing through most of the region and the country for that matter, Anthony Burroughs found a race to enter as he took part in an event at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama), and it would prove to be a good decision as he scored his second win of the season in his #121 PMC Enterprises/Barry Wright Super Late Model.

After seeing most of his other options effected by rain, Anthony decided to enter a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday night at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama). Sixteen Super Late Models were on hand, and via time trials Anthony started fourth in the main event. He would slow advance his way to the front during the race's early stages before taking the lead on lap 10, and he went on to claim the win over Brandon King and Chad Winkles. Anthony will be back in his familiar stomping grounds this weekend, May 20th-21st, as he enters a pair of $2,000 to win/$200 to start, unsanctioned events in Alabama. On Friday night the action will get underway at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), which is where Burroughs claimed a $2,000 win a month ago, before shifting to Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) on Saturday night.
