Title: Austin Hubbard Sets Sights on Commonwealth 100 Title Post by LMR on 04/13/11 at 2:29am For Immediate Release Contact: Ben Shelton (msrmafia@gmail.com) April 12th, 2011 Austin Hubbard Sets Sights on Commonwealth 100 Title Seaford, Delaware (04/12/11) – Austin Hubbard is preparing for what will be a homecoming of sorts this weekend, April 15th-16th, as he prepares to take his best shot at conquering the 2nd Annual NAPA of King William Commonwealth 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) . Austin, who was the 2010 World of Outlaws Super Late Model Rookie of the Year, spent many of the developmental years of his young career turning laps at the 1/2 mile oval at Virginia Motor Speedway, and he is a former track champion and multi-time feature winner. Given his history at the track, it's obviously a sentimental favorite for him, so it's no secret that he would like nothing more than to claim the biggest win of his career at the facility in the upcoming weekend's 2nd Annual NAPA of King William Commonwealth 100. In addition to chasing the big win, Hubbard will be looking to reclaim the points lead in the World of Outlaws sanctioned event as he currently sits in the third position in the latest tour standings, just six points removed from the top spot. This weekend's event opens with time trials and heat race action on Friday night, April 15th. Saturday, April 16th will be highlighted by b-mains, a $3,000 to win non-qualifiers events, and the $25,000 to win/$2,000 to start, 100 lap finale. For more information, please visit www.VaMotorSpeedway.com and www.WoOLMS.com . ASI Racewear will also be on hand at the event and will have all of the latest Austin Hubbard merchandise available for purchase. To view Austin's latest apparel, please visit www.AustinHubbard.com . Last Saturday, Austin took advantage of a rare weekend off of the World of Outlaws tour to compete in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Delaware International Raceway (Delmar, Delaware). After finishing second in his heat race, Austin started tenth in the main event and would mount a great charge through the field, which saw his race his way to the second position. He would pursue Richard Jarvis Jr. late in the event, but would ultimately settle for a second place finish at the checkered flag. Austin Hubbard would like to thank all of his sponsors including Beitler Motorsports, Reliable Painting, Commonwealth 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway (April 15th-16th), Trinity Transport, Salisbury Door & Hardware, Rocket Chassis, Cornett Racing Engines, Keyser's Port City Racing, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Robby Allen Enterprises, Sunoco Race Fuels, ASI Racewear, Behrent's Performance Warehouse, PANELfast, Trick Race Parts, Hawk Performance, Dyer's Top Rods, The Joie of Seating, Bell Helmets, Wilwood Disc Brake, Cizmar, TWM Racing Products, Crow Design, TC Race Cars, Integra Shocks & Springs, R2C Competition Filters, Outerwears Pre-Filters, Performance Rod & Custom, CPD Racing Tools, Wehrs Machine & Racing Products, Peterson Fluid Systems, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions, Weld Racing, Performance Bodies, Sweet Mfg, MPC Performance, Jones Racing Products, Three Wide Clothing, and MSR Mafia.com Marketing Services.
