Chad Thrash Preps For PRO Action at Whynot & Magnolia

Meridian, Mississippi (06/30/10) – Chad Thrash will enter a pair of events over the holiday weekend in his #1c Tomkat of Chunky/Rocket/Roush Yates Racing Engine Super Late Model in P.R.O. Dirt Car (PRO) Super Late Model Series action.

Thrash Motorsports was last in action two weeks ago on Saturday, June 19th as the team made the trip to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi for the 15th Annual Ival Cooper Memorial, which was to be sanctioned by the MSCCS Super Late Model tour. However, about 5:30pm, heavy rains set in forcing the program to be canceled. As a result, the team bolted for Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a Weekly Racing Series Event. Chad arrived at the track late, missing time trials, and as a result had to start at the back of the 22 car field. Despite starting deep in the pack, Thrash mounted a great run through the field, and by the time that the checkered flag dropped he was credited with a 7th place finish. This weekend, Chad is slated to be in action in a pair of events. On Saturday, July 3rd he will enter the $2,000 to win, 40 lap event at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. The next night, he will enter a $2,000 to win, 40 lap event at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Both events will be sanctioned by the PRO Dirt Car Series.
