Scott Creel Finishes Second at Screven; Wythe Raceway Next

Franklinton, Louisiana (06/30/10) – Scott Creel enjoyed his best career finish in Southern All Star Super Late Model action in his #31 Creel Brothers/Black Warrior Auctions/Mastersbilt/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model on Saturday night at Screven Motor Speedway.

Voodoo Motorsports returned to action on Saturday night at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia with the Southern All Star Super Late Model tour. Scott started the night by setting fast time in qualifications for the first time this year to earn the pole position alongside fellow front row starter, Chesley Dixon. Scott would fall back to third early in the event before rebounding late in the event to challenge Dixon for the lead. Creel would ultimately come up short of making the pass, but still recorded a strong second place finish, which is his best Southern All Star tour finish of his career!

This Friday, July 2nd, Creel, who is still the current national and rookie point’s leader for the Southern All Stars Racing Series will lead the tour in Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia for the Firecracker 50, which will be highlighted by a 50 lap, $5,000 to win event.

On Saturday, July 3rd, the team will enter the $4,000 to win, Southern All Stars East event at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina.
