Laraway Motorsports claims double win weekend at Dog Hollow and Marion Center

Laraway Motorsports saw an incredible week at the tracks this weekend, posting back to back wins Friday night at Dog Hollow Speedway, and Saturday night at Marion Center Speedway.

On Friday June 11, 2010, Dane Laraway recorded his first ever super late model victory. Dane has been pursuing the checkered flag for several years, showing improvement and promise as each year of racing came to an end. Friday night at Dog Hollow Speedway culminated in Dane waving the checkered flag. Dane started in second position in the heat and finished first. Dane then started on the pole position for the feature race, going on to capture first place for the first win of his young career. Sammy finished third in his heat event, and went on to finish third in the feature race. It was an exciting event with the top three running a full straight away ahead of the remainder of the 18 car field.

On Saturday June 12, 2010, Sammy Stile recorded his fifth feature win of the season at Marion Center Speedway. Sammy started on the front row and never looked back, running over a full straight away ahead of second place throughout the majority of the race. Sammy finished second place in the heat, from his seventh place starting position. Dane started seventh in the heat race and finished in sixth position. Dane started the feature event eleventh and finished seventh.

With both drivers posting wins, it was an exciting weekend for Laraway Motorsports, and definitely one for the memory books. Again, we would like to thank all of the sponsors that make this team possible.

This week Laraway Motorsports will return to Dog Hollow Speedway and Marion Center Speedway to continue their pursuit of the Coal Country Championship points title.
