Action Packed June at Lernerville Speedway!!!

All Star Sprints, Fireworks, Mid-Season Championships and the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com

Sarver, PA (June 1, 2010) Summer is finally here and June is loaded with hot racing action that begins this Friday June 4 with the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints. As the month rolls along, Holiday Races (featuring Fab Four Racing and Fireworks courtesy of #1 Cochran) are scheduled for Friday June 11, followed by Mid-Season Championships for all divisions of Fab Four Racing on Friday June 18 and the month is capped by the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 24-25-26!!

With $5,000 on the line for the feature winner, this Friday’s All Star show is sure to be a showdown between Lernerville’s past and present! Former Track Champions Dale Blaney and Tim Shaffer lead the All Stars in to town to battle with Defending Track Champion Rod George and All Time Division Wins leader Ed Lynch Jr.

Shaffer has won two of the past three All Star races at Lernerville Speedway with wins on August 29, 2008 and this very race last season on June 5. Both Blaney and George have won Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprint features this season, but Lynch has not! What better way to break the slump than to do so to the tune of $5,000 against the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions?!?!

The DIRTcar Pro Late Models will make their second appearance of the 2010 season at Lernerville this Friday as a support division along with the Charapp Route 28 DIRTcar Sportsman. Former Sportsman Track Champion Mike Pegher Jr. won the first DIRTcar Pro Late Model feature on Friday, April 30. The DIRTcar Pro Late Model division also features Three-Time Track Champion Butch Lambert and current Sportsman driver Jason Fosnaught.

Fosnaught will be pulling double duty this Friday in both his DIRTcar Pro Late Model and his Charapp 28 Sportsman Stock. Fosnaught has had victory within his grasp the past two weeks, only to see it slip away in the closing laps. Joe Kelley enters the event as the Budweiser Points leader in the Charapp 28 Sportsman, while Bob Egley is the defending feature winner!

The Charapp Route 28 DIRTcar Sportsman will be running for Budweiser Points this weekend and all three divisions will be required to use Raceceivers and Transponders.

Tickets for the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints, Charapp Route 28 DIRTcar Sportsman and DIRTcar Pro Late Models are just $20!!

Tickets will be on sale Friday Night for both the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com (Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 24-25-26) and the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX Twin 30s (Tuesday, July 20). Tickets for both events include free pit pass upgrades.

Holiday Races are scheduled for Friday, June 11 on #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night. Fab Four Racing will be enhanced by a dazzling fireworks display by Premier Pyrotechnics!! The best part about #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night is that there will be no increase in admission price!

The following Friday, June 18 is another Fast Friday of Fab Four Racing with Mid-Season Championships. Mid-Season Champions will win provisionals for the marquee events in the respective divisions. The Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprints feature winner will receive a track provisional for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX Twin 30s, while the DIRTcar Late Model feature winner will receive a track provisional for the 4th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com.

Speaking of the Firecracker 100, the new three-day format will cap off a thrilling month of racing at Lernerville Speedway on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 24-25-26. The pre-entry list for the Crown Jewel event continues to grow as All Stars Robbie Blair and Boom Briggs have recently submitted their registrations for the $30,000-to-win mega event!
