Dog Hollow Speedway brought the return of Dane Laraway to the wheel of the #1 car

Friday night at Dog Hollow Speedway brought the return of Dane Laraway to the wheel of the #1 car. Dane started his heat race in second place and finished first. Dane started the feature in the third position and finished third. Sammy Stile started the heat race in sixth and finished in fifth place. In the feature, Sammy started ninth and finished in the second spot. Once again, both the drivers and the cars performed well.

On Saturday, Mother Nature won the battle as the rain persisted throughout the day. All of the race tracks in the area were rained out.

On Sunday, Roaring Knob Speedway in Markleysburg, PA, scheduled a makeup of Saturday’s race. Upon arrival, the track was so rough that the Laraway Motorsports team made the decision to not race our cars on a track in such poor condition, so we loaded the cars into the trailer and headed home.

This week Laraway Motorsports will return to Dog Hollow Speedway and Marion Center Speedway to continue their pursuit of the Coal Country Championship points title.
