Schlenk gets Win #6, Sets Career Milestone!

With Win number Six in the 2010 season, at Oakshade Raceway this past Saturday night, Rusty Schlenk's accomplishments were three fold. Firstly, the "Jackson Assassin" extended his UMP National Late Model Points lead. Secondly, he officially takes over the Oakshade Raceway Late Model Points Lead. And last, but surely not least, the Bare Knuckled Wheelman gets Career Win Number 60, all before the age of 24, proving once again without doubt, he is one of the toughest competitors in this Region. Couple Saturday Night's Win, with his strong Third Place Finish on Friday Night at Attica Raceway Park, Rusty gained his 12th Top Three Finish, in 16 races. A streak which includes Six Wins, Three Second's, and Three Thirds. Story and full results of that event can be viewed at: www.atticaracewaypark.com

This week's RSR schedule will start at Kankakee County Speedway, on Friday for the "Land of Lincoln Triple Crown Clash" paying $3000 to win, for the 40 lap feature event. This event will be co-sanctioned by the Monster Midwest Series, the Northern Allstars Late Model Series, and the American Late Model Series. Information for this event can be seen at:

Saturday Night will find RSR back to Oakshade Raceway, to gain valuable UMP Points, and another opportunity to get back into the Winner's Circle.
