Anthony Burroughs Scores Third Win of 2010

Muscle Shoals, Alabama (05/17/10) –Anthony Burroughs drove his #121 ALT Transportation/Mastersbilt By Stuckey/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model to his third victory of the 2010 season on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Anthony was in action on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He started the night by setting fast time to earn the pole position for the feature event, alongside Jamie Flannigan. Burroughs would snare the lead at the drop of the green flag and went on to lead the entire event en route to the win, which was his 3rd win of the year. On Saturday night, Burroughs originally planned to travel to Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee for a Weekly Racing Series Event. However, a threatening radar made him change his plans at the last minute to travel to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a Weekly Racing Series Event. Anthony would enjoy a great run as he charged to a solid fourth place finish behind event winner, Rick Rickman, Jason Cliburn, and Brian Rickman. This weekend, Anthony will resume his pursuit of the PRO Dirt Car Series and NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Championships as he enters a pair of co-sanctioned events. He currently resides second in both point’s standings, just four points out of the lead.

On Friday, May 21st, Burroughs will be back at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama looking for his second straight win at the clay oval. The PRO Super Late Model Series program will be headlined by a $2,000 to win, 40 lap feature.

On Saturday, May 22nd, the action moves to Corinth Speedway in Corinth, Mississippi for another $2,000 to win, 40 lap event.
