SALT ROCK, WV (May 12, 2010) – Eddie Carrier Jr. took home the $3,000 first place prize this past Saturday at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY. Carrier Jr. now readies for an All Star Late Model Series weekend at Hilltop Raceway on Saturday, and West Virginia Motor Speedway on Sunday.

Steve Casebolt would jump to the race lead on Friday Night at Rocky Top Raceway with Wayne Chin giving chase. Casebolt would be credited with lap one but Chinn would take the lead on lap two. Casebolt and Chinn continued to battle side-by-side before the caution would wave on lap 12. Chinn would take his mount allowing Casebolt to inherit the lead with Carrier Jr. now in second. Back underway Casebolt would begin to stretch the lead over Carrier Jr. As the two began to work lap traffic Carrier Jr. would use to his advantage to reel in Casebolt before the caution would wave again on lap 30. When the race resumed Carrier Jr. and Casebolt would wage a side-by side battle for the lead during the remaining laps. Carrier Jr. would make a move on outside by make contact with the wall coming off turn four causing him to loose his momentum. Casebolt would take the win, Carrier Jr. settling for second, Victor Lee in third, Justin Rattliff fourth, and R.J. Conley rounding out the top five.

Saturday Night Eddie Carrier Jr. would take the win in the $3,000 unsanctioned event at Chuckie May’s 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY. Zack Dohm would take second while Josh McGuire would finish third. Victor Lee finished fourth with Chris Combs rounding out the top five.

This Saturday, May 15 Carrier Jr. will be at Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, OH for an All Star Late Model Series event paying $4,000 to win.
