Victor Lee scores pair of top fives at Rocky Top and 201; Ponderosa and LCS up next

MONTICELLO, KY (May 12, 2010) – The “Lincoln Leadfoot” earned a pair of top five finishes this past weekend taking third in the Lee Boggs 50 at Rocky Top Raceway on Friday and a fourth place finish on Saturday at 201 Speedway during an unsanctioned $3,000 to win event.

25 Super Late Models were on hand for Friday Night’s $5,000 Lee Boggs 50 at Rocky Top Raceway in Coal Grove, OH. Lee would time 18th of 25 and finish sixth in his qualifying heat. Starting 18th in the field, a hard charging Lee would make his was to third before time would run out. Steve Casebolt Jr. would take the win; Eddie Carrier Jr. in second, Lee third, Justin Rattliff would finish fourth, while R.J. Conley would round out the top five.

Saturday Night Lee ventured to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky for an unsanctioned $3,000 to win event at 201 Speedway. Lee qualified fifth among the 24 entrants and took the win in heat race #2. Starting shotgun on the field Lee would fall back for a fourth place finish. Eddie Carrier Jr. would take the win, Zach Dohm in second, with Josh McGuire taking third.

This Friday Lee will return to his home track for weekly racing series action. Ponderosa Speedway will host an unsanctioned $1,000 to win even this Friday Night, May 14. Lee last appeared at Ponderosa Speedway back on May 30, bringing home a third place finish in the National All Star Racing Association Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial.

The “Lincoln Leadfoot” will return to Lake Cumberland Speedway Saturday, May 15 as C.J. Rayburn’s National All Star Racing Association makes their first visit to the historic 3/8th’s mile facility in Burnside, KY. Lee’s last visit to Lake Cumberland Speedway was on April 10th where a late race caution would end his night, unable to finish.
