Scott Creel Returns To Southern All Star Competition This Saturday

Franklinton, Louisiana (05/05/10) – Scott Creel will return to the friendly confines of his #31 Creel Brothers/Black Warrior Auctions/Mastersbilt/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model this Saturday as he resumes his pursuit of the Southern All Star Super Late Model Championship.

After taking a few weeks off from racing to assemble his new car, Scott will be back in action this Saturday, May 8th at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. The $5,000 to win, 50 lap event will be sanctioned by the Southern All Star Super Late Model tour. Creel currently leads the Rookie of the Year standings and is second in the overall tour point’s standings. Scott was last in action three weeks ago on April 17th as he made the long tow to Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee for a $5,000 to win, Southern All Star Super Late Model event. Nineteen Super Late Models entered the event, and Creel began his night by qualifying 5th fastest. He started first in his qualifying race and recorded a third place finish to lock into the 8th starting spot for the main event. In the feature, Scott would battle the wrong tire choice and a one groove race track to a 12th place finish. Full results can be found at www.SouthernAllStarsRacingSeries.com .
