Post by LMR on 05/03/10 at 11:20pm

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 2, 2010

Arlene Pittman Top 5 in the Jet Food Points Championship Chase in the Late Model Division at 441 Speedway, Dublin Ga.

After missing 1st practice due to oil temperature fitting behind gauges breaking at last minute causing oil to get all in the floor pan and all over Pittman in the racecar.  Immediate Pittman jumps out of car and dives back in upside down under the dash she goes to fix it.  A few minutes later, and a spare part of crewmember, she was fixed.

Pittman qualified 7th and had a good run with a 6th place finish.  This will put Pittman in 5th place in the Jet Food Points Championship Chase.

Pittman knows this will be a long hard year with the tough competition each week.  Pittman stated she continues to learn so much each week.  Rookie years are always too toughest.  These cars don't handle or react like anything I ever drove over the years, stated Pittman.

For more information on Arlene Pittman Racing, call 912-245-3671.

Pittman would like to thank Horten Racing and the Six Pack for all their hard work Saturday night.
