Gary Christian Enjoys Solid Weekend in Arkansas & Missouri

Broken Bow, OK (04/14/10) – Gary Christian enjoyed a solid pair of performance over the weekend in his #58x Pannell Chipping/LCM Cedar Fiber/GRT Super Late Model.

Gary opened the weekend with a COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model event at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas on Friday night. Twenty-three Super Late Models were on hand, and Gary started the night by winning his heat race to earn the third starting spot for the 30 lap feature. Christian would narrowly avoid a lap one melee that collected several cars. On the ensuing restart he fell into line behind Billy Moyer Jr. and Dane Dacus. On a racing surface that lended itself to little passing, Christian would go on to record a solid third place finish behind event winner, Billy Moyer Jr., and Dane Dacus. On Saturday night, the team made their first ever trek to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The event marked Gary's first time to ever compete at the state-of-the-art facility. With 60 Super late Models on hand for the $3,000 to win, Lucas Oil MLRA event, Gary finished 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 15th starting spot for the feature. The team will likely take the upcoming weekend off from racing before returning to action on April 23rd-24th. On Friday, April 23rd the team will travel to Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma for a $3,000 to win MARS event, before making the trip to I-30 Speedway on Saturday, April 24th for the $2,000 to win COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model event.
