Scott James Finishes Third at Florence Last Saturday; Heads Back this Weekend Looking for First Win!

(BRIGHT, INDIANA) The "Silver Shark" Scott James and the #s44 team of Scotty Earl invaded the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, April 3. An unsanctioned Dirt Late Model event was held at the Cincinnati area venue on Saturday and a $3,000 winner's check was on the line. Scott ran third in heat race action and later rolled off fourth on the grid in the 40-lap main event. The Bright, Indiana native sported a fast racecar during the A-Main and wound up a solid third in the final rundown behind only winner Steve Casebolt and runner-up Don O'Neal. “The car was a little snug during the feature, but we have come a long way,” quoted James this week via telephone. “I think if the car was a little more neutral, we could have run up there with (Steve) Casebolt for the lead. It was still an excellent run for everyone associated with Scotty Earl Racing and we will try to get that first victory together this Saturday at Florence!”

The Scotty Earl Racing team and Scott James will hook-up once again this Saturday night, April 10 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. They will be looking for their first victory of the 2010 racing season in a $2,000 to win show this Saturday at the King-family owned, 1/2-mile speedplant.
