Eric Turner Wins Third Race of 2010 season at Monett

Hermitage, Missouri (04/06/10) – Eric Turner piloted his #99 Rushin Towing/Swaffords Amoco/GRT/Hatfield Racing Engine Super Late Model to the feature win on Sunday evening at Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri.

Eric opened the weekend on Saturday night at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska with the MLRA Super Late Model tour. It was a tough night for Turner as he battled the setup the entire night. After finishing 6th in his heat race, he was relegated to a b-main event, where he charged to a second place finish to earn a transfer to the feature. He would ultimately record a 16th place finish in the feature. Full results can be found at www.MLRARacing.com .

After a bad night on Saturday, Eric turned things around on Sunday at Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri in a Weekly Racing Series Event. The night got off to a rough start when mechanical woes in his heat race relegated him to a DNF. After starting dead last in the feature event, Turner rocketed his way to the front of the pack and the feature win, which was his second Super Late Model win of 2010 and his third win over all of the season.

This Saturday, April 10th Eric will travel to his favorite track, Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, for the $2,500 to win, MLRA Late Model Series event. For more information on the event, please visit www.MLRARacing.com and www.LucasOilSpeedway.com .
