Greenville & Riverside Up Next For Ross Camponovo

Clarksdale, Mississippi (04/06/10) – After a few weeks away from the track, “The Big Boss” Ross Camponovo will be back action this weekend in a pair of events in his #18 R.C. Motorsports/Rocket/RPM Racing Engine Super Late Model.

The team has spent the last few weeks getting their backup car ready to race. Last Saturday, the team had plans to compete in the P.R.O. Super Late Model Series Event at Central Mississippi Speedway, but heavy rain nixed the event. The team then decided to get their equipment ready for an event at Tennessee National Raceway, but by the time they had everything ready there was not sufficient travel time. As a result, Ross did not race anywhere last weekend.

Ross is busily preparing for the weekend’s events, which will see him in action in Missouri and Arkansas. The action will get underway on Friday, April 9th at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi in the facility’s season opener for the Super Late Model division. On Saturday, April 10th, the team will travel to Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas for the Spring Fling 40, which will be sanctioned by the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour.
