Scott James Heads to Florence this Saturday Following Indiana Icebreaker

(BRIGHT, INDIANA) Scott James and the Scotty Earl Racing team traveled to the historic Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday night, March 27 for their second event together in 2010. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the 'Indiana Icebreaker' and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. The SPEED Channel taped event drew a stellar 61 car field to the 1/4-mile, semi-banked fairgrounds facility on Saturday.

The driver known as the "Silver Shark" fought valiantly behind the wheel of the #s44 at Brownstown, but it was not his night. Scott wound up ninth in his competitive heat race and was credited for a twentieth place effort in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Bright, Indiana driver was forced to watch the 50-lap 'Indiana Icebreaker' from the grandstands with 35 other drivers. Scott and the #s44 team will look to get back on track this Saturday night, April 3 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. An unsanctioned event will be held at the Cincinnati area venue and a $3,000 winner’s check is on the line. Scott finished sixth a few weeks ago in the season opening ‘Spring 50’ at Florence.
