FASTRAK SEMINAR IN WEST VIRGINIA SATURDAY A SUCCESS; ADDITIONAL MID-OHIO VALLEY TOURING SERIES DATES TBA

Mineral Wells, WV…FASTRAK Northeast Co-Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone along with Tech Inspector Brad Hibbard conducted an informational meeting Saturday afternoon at the Comfort Suites in Minerals Wells, West Virginia. The seminar drew current drivers, potential new FASTRAK racers, speedway promoters, and representatives from Hoosier Tire.

“We always enjoy these seminars,” stated Emig. “It allows us to meet the racers and promoters face-to-face and answer their questions, concerns, etc. FASTRAK is ready to explode in the Mid-Ohio area. With Tyler County, Elkins, and Princeton Speedways on board from the past, the addition of Beckley and West Virginia Motor Speedways this season, and with the Mid-Ohio Touring Series it’s really going to pave the way for even more growth.”

Speedways on hand represented included Tyler County Speedway, West Virginia Motor Speedway, Princeton Speedway, I-77 Raceway Park, and Midway Speedway. Shannon Rush (Hoosier Tire Corporate), Bob Wirts (Hooiser Tire Mid-Atlantic), and Todd Frye (Hoosier Tire Ohio-Valley) all spoke concerning the new Hoosier Tires that will be required for the upcoming 2010 season.

“Following the meeting we feel pretty confident that we’ll be able to add a minimum of six dates to the already existing MOV schedule,” expressed Leone. “We got off to a little later start than we would have liked with this program, but we’re excited about this inaugural season and look forward to growing in 2011 and beyond like we have with the Northeast Touring Series.”
