CDM Super Late Models invade Arizona Speedway this weekend

QUEEN CREEK, AZ (June 19) - This Saturday night June 21st the CDM Super Late Models dirt track series make their 2014 debut to Arizona Speedway. The fastest fendered cars on the planet take aim at the high banked speedway located just 5 minutes from Mesa, AZ. In their last meeting to Arizona Speedway Joey Moriarty drove his Total Seal backed 51 machine to victory lane. Last weekend Brad Williams added his name to the list of 2014 winners. With many of the South Wests best Late Model drivers in attendance this will be a must see event.

Along with the Late Models will be the Neils Garage Cabinets Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, Robert Horne Ford Bombers and at the end of the evening the Lady Stocks.

Aaron Hetrick and Tyler Mecl both drove wheel to wheel in an exciting Neil's Garage Cabinets Pure stock main event last Saturday night which left points leader Hetrick in victory lane.

Tony Martin edged out Mike Strobl and Kevin Cain in a hotly contested Dwarf Car main event last Saturday night. Cain is current points leader with around a 60 point advantage over Chad Stewart.

Robert Horne Bomber action was packed last weekend as the 11 machine of Ben Soboski took the checkers in the Tijuana Taxi Cab after starting on the pole. Don Garrity and Mark Farnes rounded out the top 3.

We will wrap the evening up with the best female drivers in the area as both the Powered Puffs and Dirt Dolls crawl in the cars once again to put on a show.

Racing action begins this Saturday night June 21st at 7:45pm. Cost of admission is $15 adults, $12 seniors, $5 kids 7-11 and kids 6 and under are free. Pits open at 4pm and front gates open at 5:30pm. Arizona Speedway is located within ET Motopark just 5 minutes from Mesa 4 miles south of US60 on Ironwood Dr. More info at www.ArizonaSpeedway.net
