Open Practice This Saturday

OXNARD, CA - On Saturday February 16, Ventura Raceway will hold an open practice session for all competitors planning on competing at its Ventura County Fairgrounds Facility in 2013. Pits will open at 12 Noon. This will be the first practice session before the new season begins on March 2. A second practice session is scheduled for February 23 and will follow the same format.

The Tentative Format for the event will be:

12 Noon Pits Open and Tech Sessions Begin: All participants will have their vehicles go through tech prior to going onto the track.

1:00-2:00 Kids Classes Practice

2:00-4:00 Tune and Test sessions with one or two similar type cars on track at a time

4:10-4:30 Drivers Meeting/Track Prep

4:30-9:00 Practice in sessions of like vehicles. Order to be determined on the day of the event based upon vehicle count.

Admission Prices:

Adult Pit Pass: $35.00

Child Class Driver Pit Pass: 20.00

Grandstand Spectators: Free
