I have highlighted the new news:

The 2013 Petaluma Speedway Schedule has been released and will continue to highlight our Pit Stop USA Winged 360 and Spec Sprint Car Divisions. One of our crown jewel events will be the return of the touring King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series to the west coast's fastest 3/8ths mile oval. This event will be a "Tribute to Baylands Raceway Park," with many former participants joining us to salute that storied racing facility. The Hoosier Tire California Civil War Sprint Car Series will have it's customary three dates: April 27th, July 6th, and September 14th. The Civil War winged 360 shows averaged 37 cars for the Petaluma events in 2012. Petaluma Speedway has also partnered with the Joe Hunt Wingless Sprint Series and will host four events on: May 4th, June 1st, August 10th, and Sept 21st. Midgets will return for three 2013 dates: June 15th will see the United States Auto Club and the Bay Cities Racing Association co-sanction a 30-lap event with the top three finishers earning guaranteed starting berths in the 2nd Annual Johnny Soares Classics 101-lap midget race on October 5th. Sandwiched in between will be a BCRA stand alone event on August 10th. BCRA's companion Midget Lite division will make four 2013 appearances. Petaluma Speedway has taken on IMCA sanctioning for 2013 for the Dirt Modified division in hopes of stabilizing rules and car counts. In conjunction with Antioch Speedway, Silver Dollar Speedway, and the new Stockton dirt track, Petaluma Speedway GM Rick Faeth has laid the foundation for a traveling IMCA Dirt Modified series called the NorCal Modified Tour. Tentatively two races will be held at each of the four different tracks. The Dwarf Car division will be back with a full slate of racing and twice the Bay Area Dwarf Car Association has agreed to co-sanction a point race for the Dwarf Cars. We expect a huge turnout of Dwarf Cars for the 2nd annual Adobe Cup which will see the Petaluma Dwarf Cars, with B.A.D. and the NorCal Dwarf Cars Association for a three-way sanctioned event. The Lumberjack Restaurant Super Stocks will have 13 events and will culminate with a Super Stock Open Show as part of the Adobe Cup. Our entry level mini-stock & hornet divisions will see a dozen points events. Petaluma Speedway and Antioch Speedway have forged a working alliance in an effort to have less schedule overlap and to enhance car counts for each facility. Dirt late models will have five races at each track for a combined Antioch-Petaluma track championship. The popular Gene Romero West Coast Flat Track Motorcycle Racing Series will return for a third consecutive year on August 17th with over 75 pro-riders anticipated. Petaluma Speedway will be dark on May 25th (Memorial Day Weekend), August 3rd in support of the Petaluma Music Festival, August 31st (Labor Day Weekend), and September 28th. During the Sonoma-Marin Fair, we will race for the first time in recent memory with a 150-lap Enduro and Compact Car Demolition Derby scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd. 24 events are scheduled, starting April 6th through October 12th season ending Adobe Cup. Winged 360's have been added to the the non-wing 360's for the 2nd annual open comp finale. Come join us at the west's fastest dirt 3/8ths-mile for our 54th racing season!
