A big thanks to all who came out to the SMS Awards Banquet Saturday night to support all of our champions. It was a great party. I won't reveal who was the first to fall down as there are conflicting reports.

Thanks to Chris for putting on this shindig and to Cool Hand Luke's for a great dinner. Debbie's silent auction looked like it did well.

Also thanks to Jon Paquet, Condon Motorsports and Dario for providing the great pictures and video for me to edit into the presentation. The video seemed to go over well again so I guess I'll just have to keep doing them.

And thanks to all who made my guests feel welcome. We all had a great time!

I should mention that the banquet video is available for purchase. $10 per DVD copy. $15 to be shipped anywhere in the US.

The video is 20 minutes long and is set to music. It includes tributes to all our champions. It also highlights the racers, crews, sponsors, and employees that made the 2011 season a success. It also includes a section on crashes and other drama that always is a favorite of the banquet crowd.

Let me know if you would like a copy and I will burn you a DVD.
