Bako piston tech question

Let's say that I have purchased a used hobby shortblock that is American stock legal other than the pistons being 2 valve relief instead of 4..... if I have 2 more valve reliefs machined into the pistons, would that be legal? The rules just say 4VR pistons, don't say whether the pistons must be manufactured that way. Hate to scrap plans for a good motor.

ka_jd7and1 LMR God Offline Posts: 1052 Bakersfield, CA	Re: Bako piston tech question Reply #5 - 09/02/11 at 1:46pm Chad, those are Hobby rules? The Americans say: Stock OEM pistons OK. Stock dished or forged 4 valve relieved flat top piston OK. Must be 4 valve relieved.
