Reply #3 - 07/25/11 at 6:10pm Lacquer thinner and a clean white rag... even on the stickers. Worked like a charm on the modified. The cheap paint on this car is more difficult to get clean. The better the paint, the easier it is to remove.

They generate alot of heat Sometimes the tire mark has already melted the vinyl, and you can't do much with that

Vinyl will hold up to most chemicals. If it did get rubbed through by the tire ask you sticker guy to give you 6 inches off of the roll so you can patch it up. You will never be able to tell from about 10 feet back.
