COME join us on June 11th right here at the Santa Maria Speedway! The speedway does not have a race that night!!!
With the help of my friends and family we are pulling together to help TWO very ill cancer patients who are literally fighting for their lives.
Chicky is a wife and grandmother struggling through her 4th bout of lung cancer. She has recently lost use of one of her lungs, a rib is dissolving, and she is now in a wheelchair - yet fights with a sweet smile. (Most of you know her son Joey Claborn 88c modified)
Thomas is a 25 year old boyfriend and father of two young children who is too ill to support his family right now. The type of cancer he has is unresponsive to chemo so he has volunteered to participate in a clinical trial at UCLA which requires him to drive to UCLA a few times a week. So much time away from his family to try hard to live for them...
Please mark your calendar and have your families mark their calendars for on June 11th for this excellent cause.
Pay it forward! Come watch something truly unique and planned completely from compassion and love for others. Bring some cash for giving and watch 3 local bands rock from the heart for over 500 people for these amazing warriors that many, if not all, of us can relate to. SPREAD THE WORD !
Local vendor booth will also be set up in the grandstands, to help with this great cause!!
All proceeds will be split between Thomas and Chicky!!
