This sounds like yet another really great show. Its one day! Pays good all the way to the back. Make the A, you make more than you pay.
I've seen some trends in the successful bigger shows. The winner should get somewhere around 10x more than last. 10-to-1 ratio. $2,000 to win doesn't sound super sexy but considering 2nd gets $1,500 and 3rd gets $1,000....that is an awesome payscale. If you finish 19th, you'll get back twice your entry fee.
The only thing I can see that might keep some cars away is the IMCA rule thing. This really only eliminates quick changes, some minor body rules and tires (there is no claim so the engine thing is pretty wide open). Some of the top runners around have quick changes because they race alot of different places. It's a whole lot easier, and cheaper, to get different gears for a quick change than a 9". By making them illegal, it slightly lessens the pool of available cars. The tire thing should only matter to IMCA tracks that get a little point fund money back. Why not make it the Hoosier or the American Racer? Unless you are getting back some tire money.
This show does setup really nice with Watsonville on Friday then Tulare on Saturday.
@Sawyer - You took home a nice second on Sunday....you can afford 150 to enter!
