Very true and well stated. You can just feel the history when you drive up the hill at Oswego. And Toledo?...geez. The conversation went something like this:
Me; What gear do you run at Toledo.
Shirey: about a 4:00
Me; Huh? A 4:00? Thats a PIR mile gear. The schedule says that place a 1/2.
Shirey: Yep. you just hold the throttle down and lightly touch the brake pedal every now and then.
Me; Uh, I think this will be a great time to watch and learn.
Toledo is scary awesome. And I'm told Salem and Winchester are even more so. Guess any 12 second half mile would be. I know it's not dirt. but Toledo is a must for any race fan.
