Shimming a rearend is NOT locking it! There is still slipping going on. It is adding more resistance to both axles, Therefore it will always pass the tech roller test.

The only reason that it did not jump off of the roller is because he was on the brake, yes kevin it would probably jump off the roller but not if he had his foot on the brake
