Could be 4 consecutive weekends of Mod Madness in November, if you added the Silver State Championships (Nov 20-21) into the mix.

Kellen Chadwick will be running all 4 weekends. He is also planning double duty in 2nd Vegas show (LM and Mod).
It's 11 days of racing in a 24 day span (plus a couple more optional practice days - oh yeah, and travel days). Crazy busy November. From looking at pre-entries, not many CA cars headed to NM or AZ.
It's a chance to race against some of the best in the country and see how you stack up.

Kellen is a " racers racer"...........he will travel and race against the best, from coast to coast. Most Ca. teams are content to race for $1,000.00.............thats why the West Coast is doomed to be forever stagnent, and will never attract major sponsors...................jmo

You are right that Kellen wants to race against the best. He thrives on being among the best drivers and seeing where he can stack up against them. He has the confidence to race anyone, anytime and see who comes out on top, anywhere in the country.
I agree that West Coast racing is not up to par with the hot-beds of racing in other parts of the country. Why is that? If drivers won't go where these unbelievable paying shows are? I guess that speaks for itself. The phrase "Only In My Backyard" comes to mind. If you sit around waiting you may just miss your chance. Go racing!

some cali teams cant afford to go to the races in other states, and maybe some dont have any vacation time left after a long season. I dont think that it is a matter of confidence.

I understand what you are saying, and it may very well be true. BUT, these aren't the first year for any of these Events. I'd be willing to bet, all 3 of these Events will happen next year too....Knowing that these Events take place every year in November, if a team wants to go bad enough, they'll put funds and vacation time aside to go and race against talent outside of Cali.

I know that Brad Pounds likes to go to Boone and race so they always plan there time for that and they always go to the Vegas race!! There may be 4 big shows in November but that is using a lot of vacation time so most racers have to unfortunatley pick and choose, I mean I had to take a week and a half off to pull the car to Boone!!

We go to all the big races all over the USA and even did speed week in Daytona ... I also took one of the Hogges cars to OR.. race because we are good friends,, Maybe one of the fast guys mite see where we are racing next, there mite be an open space in the trailer for your car.... Can`t do it all the time, but never hurts to ask.. I enjoy racing all the top racers all over the U.S.... Thats what makes the cars better and the driving as well..
Have a great day and see you at the races..
