Saturday Night Racer - Bannistar screwewded

He lost the race because of a lap car. No matter what the out come was Jason should not have been penilized at all. Just my opinion. Richie McGowan

Everybody is blaming somebody, I guess I am the real one at fault, Aaron does a good job of running a consistant line. It's my fault he's not going faster, don't have the $ for new engine, I was pleased with the way he drove the car last night. He was given the leaders are coming flag (not really move over the way it's explained at the drivers meeting) and he was holding his line, you don't know how close the leaders are until they are next to you. I thought it was a racing deal and I wouldn't tell any driver to move off the track. Jason was running the same grove as Aaron and Rick got a good run up on top, I guess Aaron should have looked in his rear view mirror to see who he wanted to block! Sorry guys racing deal, I think no fault, either Aaron or Jason.

I respect Jason and he is one of my favorite drivers at the track-- I was given the move over flag with 3 laps to go, as soon as I saw it, I moved out of the middle lane where I had been running and went to the bottom. I actually slowed myself down a little so I could hold a tight lane on the bottom and that is where I remained. The blue and yellow flag requests that lapped cars hold their lane, and thats what I did. I feel bad it happened and I think Jason should have won that race too, but there was nothing that I could have done.

If I had known Jason was running the very buttom, maybe I could have dove on to the berm, but we dont know those things.

Isn't it the leaders job to navigate traffic? I won MANY races because of lappers. I was better in traffic than the guy in front of me or behind me. If Aaron was holding his line, he did his job. Beyond that it is the faster cars responsibility to pass them, period.

Watch the 11 car. The blue 98 car was the point leader at the time of this race. At about 2 min into the video, I had to dive into the infield to avoid the lappers, at almost 4 min I split 2 lappers to stay in the lead. This isn't the only time lappers were an issue, is just the only video I could find.

Walley in my view when I saw it I thought that sucks you feel for Jason, In my oppinion from turn three I had a good view I watched it all it was a racing deal I really dont think anybody should be mad at Arron, But what a bad call to call him Jason for rough driving WOW, for that matter Rick could have been called for it also they were going for the win, Arron chin up stuff happens
