ANNOUNCING 8 SHOWS FOR 2007
The Western States Modifieds have announced eight OPEN modified shows for 2007.  The open modifieds will be running with the Golden State Challenge 410 Winged Sprints and will run beside the World of Outlaws for two shows this season at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway.  A page will be set up here at westernracer.com to carry all the information and results from each of the shows.  For a very long time, many Modified drivers and teams have asked for more open shows and now they are here.  Dates will be released within the next two weeks.  The rules will follow along the lines of the National Modified Racing Association.  Their will be no aluminum heads allowed.  Stay tuned for more news as it becomes available.  We look forward to the 2007 season and the ability to finally bring open modified racing directly to the fans.

Last time the modifieds ran at Tulare they had a blast! Great track and the staff treats everyone good!
