I've heard the concessions will be track run again this year...hopefully this is true. Although, how about choices? It's not all bad having a upper lever food service, but don't get rid of the 'ol Deep Fried Burritos and Corn Dogs that we grew up on...for an affordable price.
Some people might like a well prepared $8.00 burger, but when I go to the races..I want a $2.00 HOT DOG w/o having to stop at COSTCO on the way to the track and grabbing 2 or 3.

I don't drink..so what beer doesn't affect me...but when I DID...it was COORS SILVER BULLETS (BUD -ewww)
I wonder IF the Beer line could do Corn Dogs and Burritos...THEIR LINES were short and quick...or maybe just JERKY and PEANUTS (I stood in line for ONE stinkin bag of jerky last year for almost 20 minutes...almost LEFT and we into town to the LIQUOR STORE

I can't imagine that they would give up the multi beer cash cow, more brands more sales=mo money. And you'd still go, you'd just sneak it in like the old days!!
Wait a minute, did I type that out loud? LOL Duane

LOL, I remember seeing Bakersfield guys doing that in the old Street Stocks...I'd swear they were using the same car as the FAMILY CAR (some had to pull headlights out)

Its going to remain the same for beer. The only thing that might happen,is the smirnof, and mikeritas, might have to go away, if the new law is passed. The state is thinking of making a person have a hard liquor lic. to serve those. But still bud, coors, miller, sierra Nevad, corona. We want to add another beer. Anybody have an opinion on that?

Oh yes they are planning on the good ole burritos again. Sometimes they were kinda rough on sundays though. The speedway is taking over the concessions.

Another thing with the speedway doing concessions, we will be able, hopefully to sell jerky, peanuts, beer nuts etc. But we will still have a bowl of peanuts for people to grab a handfull for free. And sometimes candy and other goodies. Now with the racing being good, the food faster, the beer having variety. 2007 is going to rock. As long as the rain stops sometime.

Well I kinda had to, didn't have a truck or a trailer for that matter. I lived in Misson Hills out side of Lompoc and went over the grade to San Antonio Rd and then the back way in to Santa Maria via Tanglewood, across to 166 turn toward Guad and go to Bonita school Rd up tward the little shopping center and down the frontage road to the track, did that for half a season until my car left its inards on the speedway. Tried to do it again later that year and got busted big time, safty issues
cold plateing lighting problems, ya the Misses was a little miffed with me for a while. Still did it two more times that year after the big bust but with a different car, the cops kept that one. I don't know how good they were but they were the days. Racers do what they got to do to go racing. LOL Duane
