EL NINO WINTER SERIES KICKS OFF AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY SATURDAY!

(Perris, CA, December 2, 2015) Perris Auto Speedway kicks off the winter racing season this Saturday, December 12th, with Round #1 of the “El Nino Winter Challenge Series.” Modifieds, Street Stocks, Super Stocks and American Factory Stocks will all be in action on the famous Riverside County half-mile clay oval. Spectator gates will open at 2:00 PM and the first race will be at 3:00.

Rules for the five race series are simple.

“If your car is legal at your home track, it is legal for the El Nino Series,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “We have had a lot of guys ask us to run in the winter over the years and we are going to give it a shot. Not only will it be a good opportunity for our regulars, but it will also give out of town drivers a chance to visit The PAS. Lots of drivers like to visit out of town tracks, but cannot because their local tracks run on the same dates during the season. Without any other tracks running, this will present them the opportunity to compete at The PAS.”

A lot of fans have also expressed a desire to have some off season races. Kazarian took their wishes into account as well. The shows are starting at 3:00 PM so fans will not have to sit in the cold to long after the sun goes down.

For the winter series, tickets prices are $12.00 for adults. For active military members with current id, students 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12, it is just $5.00. Children 5 and under will be admitted free. Advance tickets are available 24-hours a day by calling 1-800-595-4849 or online at the following link: http://pas.tix.com/Event.aspx?EventCode=808313. For fans who do not wish to get tickets in advance, there will be plenty of tickets available for everyone at the track on Saturday.

The fairgrounds has agreed to allow free parking for the fans at all five of the El Nino Series races.

The other four dates for the El Nino Winter Challenge Series will be January 9th, January 23rd. February 6th and February 20th.
