It was prep as good as they could due to water problems tony said from the night before. He said he wished he could go out and blade it smooth, but too many wet spots to take a blade to it |

Title: Re: STOCKTON SPEEDWAY DIRT TRACK VIDEO Post by califgold on 01/30/13 at 7:47am i heard the track was 1/2 mile it sure dont look that big to me |
Title: Re: STOCKTON SPEEDWAY DIRT TRACK VIDEO Post by sj_valley_dave on 01/30/13 at 1:55pm It is not a 1/2 mile track. It was advertised when being built as a 3/8 mile, supposedly similiar in size to Hanford...There is only 1 true 1/2 mile in the state...Calistoga. El Centro, if they ever re open is the next biggest track... |
Title: Re: STOCKTON SPEEDWAY DIRT TRACK VIDEO Post by redbear on 01/30/13 at 10:42pm I talked to Tony last weekend and he said it measures 1/2 mile on the outside and 3/8 mile on the inside. That was his words and he built it. |

Title: Re: STOCKTON SPEEDWAY DIRT TRACK VIDEO Post by sj_valley_dave on 01/31/13 at 10:51am That is considered a 3/8 mile track, as I stated. It looks very wide and unless you are running against the outer edge the whole lap, it's a 3/8mile track. Kind of like Perris...They call it a 1/2 mile, maybe if measured at the fence..LOL You can run Hanford's gear at Perris no problem |
