Chris is trying to get some sponsorship for the SS event, but nothing has come through yet. If no sponsorship comes through the SS will run 25 laps. If someone comes through with some sponsorship, the race will be 30 laps. Thats all the information I have at this point, hope it helps............... Kirk

Really?

Ambulance $165 an hour.

Electricity $200 an hour

All help except officials paid by the hour.

Should I continue? I dont get the beer sales and I couldn't sell enough hot dogs to pay the stuff I just listed. I know most of you have a hard time comprehending this, but this is a business and it is very tough times right now. All those people you see sitting on the hill in turn 4 dont help either. Nor do all the people that bring in there own food and drink. So next time you see someone pull a 12 inch Subway sandwich out of there bag, thank them for why I cant afford longer races. I know that is an exaggeration, but it all ads up!!!!

I would count yellows on all classes. If a class can't get it together you get less laps. If you can keep it going you get more. Some classes put 50 laps down when you include yellows.

There's no p in simkins

Wow Santa Maria the only track I still know that does not have a curfew and yet you can't run late. I say make it a Saturday night race and only run like three classes not six.

Its not a curfew issue. cost kearns $ for the lights, medical care and some of the staff by the hour. Its tough on him as it is already let alone run over on time. Sponsors anyone and we could run longer races. Just a though :)
