It's not looking good for this weekend!!! Plan on going to Tulare Fri. Night...RAIN...Plan on going to Perris Sat. Night...RAIN

Wait all winter for racing season to get here, Then it wants to Rain all the time!!! LOL

Hoping for the best :-?

Weather for Friday at Tulare -----------------

This is what scottwoodhouse posted on LMR -----------The track looks fine. Weather is going to hold out for Friday. We will be ready for some good racing.

Both local and national weather reports say "cloudy".

Don't know what report you are looking at, but I like the ones I have read. I'm forecasting there will be a memorable race held at the Tulare Thunderbowl, Friday, March 5th, 2010.

Now you quit trying to jinx it for everyone...............................LOL

PS...Saturday might be a different story. I will be at Famosa for drag racing and I sure hope it don't rain...................... 8-)

hate to say it, but it is looking grim all over.
ive been watching the weatherchannel.com all week for bako on saturday....
Monday it said 50% chance of rain
Tue - 60%
wed - 70%
thurs - just looked and it said 80%.

the car is loaded and ready to go... keeping my fingers crossed!

Doesn't look good but I am hopeful.. I hope it stays away until about 12:00am Sunday AM or atleast after 11:00 on Saturday night..lol..
That four letter R word is a bad word around my house... I hate the rain. It ruins all the fun...lol...

As of right now weather.com shows 100% chance of rain for Sat. in the '08.

When/how will we know if the races have been cancelled?

Weather.com dropped to 90%.

I think it's less of a question of if it will rain, and more of a question of how much it will rain and whether it will affect the racing.

Tulare - Friday: Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will become overcast in the afternoon. High 58F. Winds light and variable.
Friday night: Cloudy with occasional rain after midnight. Low 44F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 70%.

Bakersfield - Saturday: Periods of rain. High 56F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Perris - Saturday: Cloudy with periods of rain. High 53F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%

well dang! the weather is looking better. but we already decided to scratch this one. just cant afford too many rain outs. it a long drive.
