Heard Bannister got a black flag for rough driving (finish back of lead lap), and Richie got DQd for not going to tech.

bannister was DQed. richie didnt have breaks and was let off the hook and didnt get DQed

Aaron I heard if you would of hit the gas instead of the break you would of never got turned around and that call never would of been made by the way that was a $hity call on the officals part how can you make that call when Bannister lead all 25 laps going for the checker flag and lap trafic is in the way racing a car for the win Im sure any other race car driver would of done the samething Aaron maybe next time when you see the move over flag and the white flag comes out you might think of going into the in field to give the guys who are behind you a chance to race to the checker flag JMO

He held his line, which is what the blue and yellow flag means. A lap down or 10 laps down, I'm not going to "move into the infield" to get out of the way - there is plenty of track to race around. Jason picked his line and got stuck with a car in the way, sucks but that's what happened.

Whether Aaron stood on the gas or the brake he got punted unneccessarily. Although some guys do it, you can't go moving cars out of your way to get around them.

Im not going to make a big deal out of this i just think it was a F UPED call on the officals part because when I got behind Aaron I taped him to let him know I was there he hit the brake or let of the gas and thats how I got into him again and spun him aroud yeah I think the hole thing was a messed up deal I just think it sucks to get the last car on the lead lap for rough driving until you can put your self in my shoes you can keep your opinions to your self about what happened

BANNISTER, I WOULD OF DONE THE SAMETHING. IN THE HIGHER CLASSES IT COMMON CURDACY TO MOVE THE F$CK OUT OF THE WAY AND WE ALL DO IT FOR EACH OTHER BECAUSE U NEVER KNOW WHEN THE TABLES WILL BE TURNED. THE OFFICAILS DONT UDERSTAND THIS AND A ROUGH DRIVING CALL AGINST A LAP CAR SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. YOU DONT MOVE THAN YOU GET THE FENCE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. NOT TO MENTION WHEN YOU GET THE WHITE AND THE MOVE OVER FLAG(WHICH IS WHAT ITS CALLED) AT THE SAME TIME. UNBELIVABLE

This is a bad deal. Jason isn't the kind of racer that takes people out. I sorry I would have done samething comin to the checker with the 2nd place right there.

Some of these lap cars are very hard to pass because you don't know where there going. There high then low. I know we all have to start some where. Just hold one line and stay there when you get the move over flag.

Move it or lose it.

I find it kind of hypocritically funny because those of you who are saying "he got the move over flag, he should have moved" would complain about him actually changing lines and getting in someone's way. Can't have it both ways.

The move-over flag is a hold-your-line flag. Then the faster cars behind you can see where you're going and move around you accordingly. They can see you, you can't see them.

Jason, you're a cool guy and a good driver, it was just a racing deal and I don't think you should have gotten the call against you either.

WHTE FLAG & MOVE OVER FLAG = PULLER OFF TO THE INFIELD AND GET OUT OF THE WAY, TO MOST ALL RACERS. IF I WAS GOIN A LAP DOWN, AND IN THE BACK, THATS WHAT I WOULD DO.

at least get out of the racing grove,stay high whatever. i dont think pulling into the infield is right. lap cars are part of racing and always will be. thats where experience and luck come into play. if youre racing 2 wide and comming on a lap car somebodys getting screwed. ive been on both ends and all i can say is thats racing.

I agree with Nick and when i lap car doesnt HOLD his LINE like the flag says then what do u expect the leader to do and when u do lead the race like Jason did jmo i had the same thing done to me except for the rough diving part if that is what they wanna call it

Everybody is blaming somebody, I guess I am the real one at fault, Aaron does a good job of running a consistant line. It's my fault he's not going faster, don't have the $ for new engine, I was pleased with the way he drove the car last night. He was given the leaders are coming flag (not really move over the way it's explained at the drivers meeting) and he was holding his line, you don't know how close the leaders are until they are next to you. I thought it was a racing deal and I wouldn't tell any driver to move off the track. Jason was running the same grove as Aaron and Rick got a good run up on top, I guess Aaron should have looked in his rear view mirror to see who he wanted to block! Sorry guys racing deal, I think no fault, either Aaron or Jason.

Jason, I didnt hit the brake or let off the gas-- the only explination to anything seeming like that that I can think of is that when you bumped me the first time, it possibly took the weight off the back and caused me to lose traction.

I had been running the middle lane, when I received the blue and yellow flag, I moved to the bottom of the track as I had seen the majority of the cars ahead of me (Bruce, Loftis, other fast guys who had to go back up through the field) running the top, so I used all the information I had been given and assumed the leaders were on the top.

I don't know if it was a right call for a penalty either-- he was racing for the win-- you do what you have to do for a win-- I ran in to Lulu Strub once in nearly an identical incident to last night with the exception it was the white flag rather than the checkered.

Jason good run! I know that I'm a rookie in the A/S division so my opinion doesnt really matter, but like everyone else I like to give it anyways. Rubbins racing and especially at our local dirt tracks. Jason was robbed of his finish. I will agree with the officials with the call they made if they were coming to take the white flag, or on the back stretch on the last lap. From a fans respective that was a awsome race to watch. Standing in line to go into the pits after the races that was what everyone was talking about. What a great finish. I didn't hear anyone say one bad word about Jason, just that was awsome to watch. Bakersfield Speedway is becoming like Nascar the suit and tie type, and that's why the ratings are falling out like crazy. Let us race to the checkers the last thing we need in our minds is they will penalize us for racing hard with lap traffic. It will make for some bad boring racing.
