After hearing a few crybaby cattle ranchers and some "enviromental wackos" and over 9 hours of debate the suits of Merced county gave Riverside Motorsports the green light!! The meeting ended at 2:30am.!!! The 250 million dollar site on 1200 acres will have 8 racetracks!! The 2 I care about are the championship drag strip and a 3/8mi. dirt oval!! Foster Farms has a nearby chicken farm and they plan to sue over the deal saying that the pollo will go loco over the noise. Time will tell.

I belive merced county is up north. So it would be a LONG haul from Perris

Where is this Riverside Motorsport Park going to actually be located at? What type of events and size of tracks are they going to have?

WOW POORBOY thanks for the link. On any gven weekend a guy could race his dirt car,watch the kids bmx race and check out a mud bog.

that is gonna be one bad ass race pavilion i may just make my stock car a paved racing car lol 3 1/2 miles of asphalt that sounds awesome i know i sure will make a trip there when it opens

I would rather deal with Mad Chicken disease than Mad Cow disease. The chickens are alot smaller.
