Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by S.S.RD45 on 12/12/06 at 10:14pm In 2005 someone brought a 2 late model to the track.(Maybe Bartels) And I belive they sold raffle tickets for a ride. A drivers wife won Addamo?? maybe. Anyways the car spit the drive shaft first or second lap. |
Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by outlawaaron98 on 12/13/06 at 12:08pm it was addamo's wife and yes it lost the driveshaft in the middle of lap 2 and this selling rides has been done more than once at s.m.s. in the 32 yrs i can remember it is a good way to get the public and sponsors more involved i think |

Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by timss47 on 12/13/06 at 7:07pm You may be talking about two differnt cars here? cause David has a two seatier factory stock! but i could be wrong to!? |
Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by 3dshoe on 12/13/06 at 7:43pm I think hogracer would still be racing if they allowed that in the upper divisions. He won a championship in hobbies with his brother-in-law pushing the gas, who's to say he wouldn't take that to the ss or lm divisions.Laugh if you want, but I watched him slow down when they took the other guy out!!! That was the last year they allowed passengers in streets at RT66. |
Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by TIM_BEWLEYJR on 12/13/06 at 9:00pm they used to do that at peris too, right? |
Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by 3dshoe on 12/13/06 at 9:05pm they did it in big cars with a wet track(perris). Dave won a turkey classic and a championship in hobbies withthe passenger running the gas. |
Title: Re: Sweet business oportunity. Post by hogracer3d on 12/13/06 at 10:57pm That's what messed me up, throughout the 3 championships we won, I never had to deal with that darn gas pedal. The bro in law is insane, I just had to find a way through it--DT I may want to get the big Monte out again for a putt this year--who knows |
