Got this from a post in the LM section "Johnson Motorsports" Wrote that the Factory stocks at SMS will have a "B" main

I've never seen a "B" mains for Factory/american stocks at SMS. When I raced Hobby's we had 40-45 cars and they never had a "B" main. Depending on how many heat races they have, say 3 heats, 7 might transfer from each heat. You bako guys that have not raced at SMS this weekend will have to start at the rear of the heat race (thats a SMS rule) and if there are more than 20 or 21 cars, you guys might be coming over for hot laps & a heat race. But hey, you bako guys say you like competition.

From the SMS Website Rules page.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

LATE MODELS - STREET STOCKS - MINI STOCKS - FACTORY STOCKS

1. Points will be awarded to drivers and owners as follows:

QUALIFYING - Fast time = 1 point (Late Models & Sprint Cars only). HEAT - 4, 3, 2, 1.

"A" MAIN - 50, 46, 43, 41,40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23.

"B" Main - 0, 0, 0, 0, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 (Top-four transfer to "A" Main).

Show up points: 10 - Take Any Green: Last place or 20 points (whichever is less).

I havn't seen many factory stock b mains, But if they end up with 27 or 28 cars. I would guess they will have one.

Just a word of caution...

BEFORE you make that long haul to SMS, if you have ANY question about whether your car is legal, CALL FIRST! Last time a couple of "out of the area" drivers hauled over, were found NOT to be legal, and were allowed to run for no points no money. That ended up a HUGE mess with some rather unpleasant (and subsequently deleted) comments on the message board.

So PLEASE, if you have ANY question as to whether you are legal....CALL!

the out of town boys did get to run for points and they also got paided i dont know whats going on with all these comments about bako racers coming over to sms but what i do know is we already have the okay to race at sms if theres going to be a problem some one needs to lets us know cause were ready to have some fun !!!!

just to add my 2 sense on that number 27. last race the 2 tuno boats from bako got 3rd and 4th. and u should like to race against my tuno boat. its a luxury and stylish cadillac lol. have u ever seen a cadillac race? i havent until me

3800 lb full frame boat vs camaro in a wreck......u get dents i get a wadd of sheetmetal to try n fix before next race cuz dont forget we're running for points, not just fun like u

well i dont know y u r so worried about points. we r also running points in bako. and im also running points in chowchilla which im racing there monday do until u start doing all the racing possible u wont know what its like. i race any chance i get at any track possible. i race my car with the hobby stoks and american stocks because i love racing. i can lock the rear end and run with the hobbies and i can unlock it and run american.

and i forgot to mention my cadillac is not a full frame car. it has a subframe that unbolts and its a leaf spring cadillac not coil
